Chief Russ Landon has had the honor of serving The Village Police Department since 1991, working in various capacities in each of the Patrol, Investigations, and Administration Divisions. In June of 2022, he was appointed Chief of Police.

Throughout his career, Chief Landon has demonstrated his expertise in every aspect of police work. He has earned an Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, and two Master’s degrees, and graduated from the FBI’s National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.

Chief Landon is a highly respected law enforcement professional who is deeply committed to serving and protecting his community with integrity, compassion, and excellence.
