to engage in the business of soliciting or peddling.
- Newspaper, delivery, and sales persons acting on behalf of charitable, benevolent,
or religious organizations are not required to be licensed.
- Persons engaged in political campaigns or political fund raising are not required
to be licensed.
- No solicitor or peddler may call on any person at their home without invitation after
6:00 p.m., April 1 through August 31, or after 5:00 p.m., September 1 through March
31, and no earlier than 9:00 a.m.
- No solicitor or peddler shall enter any premises or attempt to sell, peddle, or solicit
where the owner or occupant has indicated a desire not to be contacted for sales
