Waste Connections (the City’s Contractor) is committed to providing its customers with the best possible service, the latest innovation and a continuing opportunity to help the environment. Through this commitment, we have realized the value of adding RecycleBank™ to our list of services. We are thrilled to offer this totally recharged and reinvented way to recycle.
What makes this program so unique is that you and your family will earn RecycleBank™ Points for your recycling efforts. The more you recycle, the more RecycleBank™ Points you earn. Each pound (1lb) of recyclables is equal to 2.5 points, and the average reward is 50-100 points. On average, a family earns $20 in discounts and reward cards each month. “Super Recyclers” have earned as high as $40.00 per month in rewards on average.
RecycleBank™ is a loyalty and rewards program that motivates households to recycle. RecycleBank™ is being offered exclusively by Waste Connections in the State of Oklahoma. Each customer receives a large 95-gallon wheeled recycling cart equipped with an RFID (radio frequency identification) tag. This RFID tag has a unique number and will associate your cart to your address. Simply place all of your recyclables (no more sorting) in your new cart. Recycle trucks have been retrofitted to read the ID tag, weigh your recyclables and transmit this information to your personal RecycleBank.com Account, where you earn RecycleBank™ Points.
An average recycler has the ability to earn and redeem hundreds of dollars worth of rewards and discounts at local and national businesses each year. Currently, RecycleBank™ has more than 2000 local and national reward partners dedicated to its mission to encourage communities and households to recycle. Local reward partners will include businesses located right within the City of the Village and the immediate surrounding area. National partners include McDonalds, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Coca Cola, Old Navy, Khols, AMC Theaters, CVS Pharmacy, Target and many more!
Another Great thing about choosing RecycleBank™ Service is that RecycleBank™ Reward Partners can be local City of The Village businesses. Being a partner will give the local businesses FREE ADVERTISING on the RecycleBank™ Website. The only cost to the vendor is the value of the reward.

Residents pay $4.55 a month for Recyclebank™ service, which is included as part of your monthly sanitation service bill.
NOTICE: The Recycling Fee Exemption program for elderly/low income residents and hardship cases will end on June 30, 2011. No applications will be accepted after that date.
DROP OFF CENTER: The City has provided a drop off facility at 1701 NW 115th for residents to use. Effective July 1, 2011 the facility will only accept bulk metals for recycling. All other commodities must be recycled through the Recyclebank™ program. Various churches and schools in the area also provide drop-off facilities for paper and cardboard. The Drop Off facility is open from 8 -5 pm, Mondays to Fridays AND Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to Noon.
