AMBULANCE SUBSIDY: Since July 2004 residents of The Village have paid a monthly fee on the monthly utility bill from the City of The Vilage to pay the costs of providing ambulance service to The Village. The cost of the basic subsidy is $1.50 per month.
AMBULANCE MEMBERSHIPS (Total Care) are provided to all residents of The Village for a fee of $1.25 a month. The fee is included on your utility bill from the City of The Village. The membership covers the cost of all emergency medical transports above and beyond what is paid by Medicare or other insurance, if any. If you live in The Village, you should never have to pay anything for a bona fide emergency transport. There are a few exceptions to this, however, so please visit the link below for all the details of what is covered and what is not.
